Wet-Mex Food Truck Information

Pulling up to Wet-Mex Food Truck at 1500 NE 146th St in Shoreline feels like stumbling onto one of those local spots people quietly rave about in reviews but rarely overhype. It’s parked in an unassuming stretch, but the steady line of regulars is the first clue that something good is happening here. The setup is simple-no-frills, classic food truck style-but the aroma of grilled meats and warm tortillas instantly makes the location feel inviting.

The menu leans into hearty, flavor-packed Mexican comfort food with a slightly indulgent twist, the kind that doesn’t try to be trendy but still manages to feel special. Tacos are the obvious starting point, and the carne asada version stands out with its well-charred edges and juicy interior. There’s a satisfying balance of freshness from the cilantro and onion against the richness of the meat. The burritos are where things get serious, though-massive, tightly wrapped, and loaded with fillings that actually stay proportionate from the first bite to the last, which is rarer than it should be.

One of the highlights from my visit was the loaded nachos, which could easily pass as a full meal. They come piled high with melted cheese, beans, and your choice of protein, and they don’t skimp on toppings. It’s the kind of dish that feels indulgent without crossing into greasy overload, which speaks to the care put into the preparation. The salsa options add another layer, with a noticeable difference in heat levels that feels intentional rather than generic.

Service here is quick but friendly, even during busy hours. The staff seem used to handling a steady stream of customers, and they keep things moving without making you feel rushed. It’s the kind of place where you might end up chatting with someone else waiting in line, swapping recommendations based on past visits.

Seating is limited, as expected with a food truck, so most people take their food to go or eat in their cars. Still, the experience doesn’t feel lacking-it actually adds to the casual charm. Reviews online often mention consistency, and based on what I saw, that reputation seems well-earned. Portions are generous, prices are reasonable for the area, and the flavors deliver exactly what you’d hope for when you’re craving something satisfying and straightforward.

What People's Say About Place

Expansive menu, great prices, friendly people, and delicious food. Glad I tried it on a whim. Really liked the carnitas and the Al pastor tacos. Portion size was good and the churros complemented everything nicely.

The food truck is conveniently located across the street from the Goodwill so plenty of parking. Food is generally good although some of the meats can be a little on the dry side sometimes. YMMV.

Asada tacos and quesabirria plate were amazing! And their horchata is incredible. They're located in the street/alley by Goodwill, where the donation drop-off line is. They have some covered tables, benches out by the truck which is nice and convenient to eat at.

Convenient location. Horchata is $3.50 and it’s a great deal, because other food trucks charge $4.99. Number 16 is my favorite, it’s the Quesabirra also known to gringas as a pot roast quesadilla. Try it out! Right off the 175th I5 exit next to Goodwill on 146th street and 15th. Picnic tables are new and always clean! Super nice owner and his wife work here. Family owned business and delicious recipes and meal combos.

Just had an amazing breakfast burrito here. Very fresh ingredients, generous, (really beyond generous!) serving. If you are a taco truck fan like me, you should check this one out!

Pretty good tacos, the asada ans chorizo where really good.

Quesobirria tacos were sooo good! Idk why I haven’t checked this spot out before because they’re definitely now in my top favorite taco trucks !! The super burrito and papusa were also great

I love this place, I get their tacos very frequently. Great quality and pricing. Also the people are wonderful
